Previous Races

The Gannon Cup has been run over at least 4 different courses since its inception.
In 2009 the race was run in an experimental new course in the Dublin Docklands. The Dublin Docklands Development Authority were the title sponsor of the race. It was hoped that running the race in the Docklands area in late in the summer would be good for crews and spectators.
