The 2009 Gannon & Corcoran Cups are about well into the countdown phase of the race. Anyone not aware already that the event is on the Thursday 16th April from Sean O’Casey Bridge to past the Eastlink Bridge should take note in their diary and also note that the races start at 17:45 this year with the two main races taking place at 18:15 and 18:45.
This year also sees the addition of a prerace recpetion to be held onboard the MV Cill Airne. Those interested in attending should be aware that there will be one of the busses arriving at the boat just before the start to pick up anyone interested in following the race.
