The weather turned out to be a lot better than anticipated. I think as a crew we underestimated the difference that a shorter course would make but it played no part in our loss. We were beaten by a stronger crew.

Novice Race Report (Moorhead Trophy):
The novice race was held above the weir along the Trinity Regatta course. DULBC won the coin toss earlier on in the day and chose to race on the North Station. UCD had a very fast start and had around a quarter of a length
